B.E.T.A (Better Education Through Art) - Emerging Trends in 20th Century Photography
Wednesday, March 5, 12, and 19 (3 weeks), 1:30 - 2:30 PM
Instructor: Stephen Jareckie, FAM Photography Consultant
As photography evolved over the 20th century, distinctive trends became apparent. Social documentation, street photography, and experimental photography are a few of these trends that broadened photography as an art form. Drawing on the Museum's photography collection (images that are on view and currently not on view) and the history of photography, Mr. Jareckie will discuss the development of these important trends that continue to this day. FREE for Museum members; non-members pay Museum admission fee for each lecture ($5 seniors, $9 adults).

Learn to Scrapbook Workshop

Discover what to do with all your unused pictures! Learn scrapbooking techniques and the purpose of creative scrapbooking. You will make a unique 12" x 12" layout. Bring photos, postcards, certificates, etc. to put in your page. All other matericals will be provided. Fee covers only one layout. $20M, $25NM plus a $5 materials fee, payable to the instructor on the day of the workshop. Please register through FamilyID.
